Chocolate chip cookies!

Since I have this new 5 quart, 325 watt KitchenAid stand mixer, I *have* to put it to good use. This is forcing me to not only make more cookies and things that I already know how to make, but I'm also going to branch out and make things I've never made before. Dustin is my test subject to see if the product is good. If it is, I'll distribute said product to his coworkers, my coworkers, and my family.
However, to break in my KitchenAid stand mixer, tonight I went with an old favorite: Chocolate Chip Cookies. I made a double batch so I have plenty to share with friends. :-)
Look at the pretty box!

The ingrediants.

The mixer all pretty.

The dry ingrediants all mixed together.

Then I added in the wet ingrediants (the eggs, vanilla, and milk).

All mixed together!

Now to add the last ingrediant: The chocolate chips!

Scooping them out onto pans.

The finished product!

Hugging my new friend

Ta da!

Also I like your kitchen! Is that a microwave above the oven?

Date: 2007-09-29 02:58 am (UTC)Yep, that's a microwave above the oven. It's a nice kitchen in our apartment, I just wish we had more cabinets. We don't have many cabinets so a lot of the wedding gifts we got (pots, pans, and beautiful bowls) have to stay in a wardrobe in another room unless I'm actively using them. I can't wait until we get a big house and I have more cabinets!

Date: 2007-09-29 02:59 am (UTC)What did you make with your KitchenAid mixer?
I'm going to have to test out this theory of mailing cookies to people. I'm not sure how long the cookies will stay fresh, so I'll have to mail them to people who live nearby first, and if they make it through the mail okay, then I'll mail them to people further away, like you! I'd just hate to send you stale, crumbled cookies!
