Distract me

Dustin and I are going down to Florida for Memorial day weekend. w00t! I haven't been since November and I miss seeing everyone.

Today must be the day to distract Elizabeth. Admist phone calls from friends/Dustin/others today, I've also had to pick up a red bat tonite from two awesomely cool women in Decatur, and just got off the phone counseling a high schooler on how to keep a possum in a box overnight until I can come out there tomorrow and get him.

And I have two papers due Wednesday by 5 p.m. I've only written 1/3 of one paper. Eeek.

Yep, there are red bats here, too. The most common bat is the big brown bat, which lives in colonies with other bats, usually in an attic or the eaves of a building. Re bats, however, live solitary lives, usually in trees. Different species.

It will be fun! You and Dustin need to talk about when we should get together. I'm not sure what our schedule is for that weekend. I wish we could stay longer, because there's just so many people to visit.

Of course! :-) We'll have to get together on Friday night or Saturday or something. We also have to see his family, but there will *definitly* be time to hang out with y'all. Otherwise, I wouldn't come. lol
