Oh, yeah, Happy V-Day everyone! I think it's a dumb holiday, but Dustin got us circus tickets and he got me something from England that hasn't arrived in the post yet. And he won't tell me what it is. Dammit. Yea for presents, even though I told him not to get me anything!

Yeah but to a guy, "I don't want you to get me anything" means "I'm trying not to seem shallow, but really if you don't give me a present, I'll be quite disappointed!" And you have to admit, that's usually what we women mean. ;)

You're so right! Adam was all worrying about if he got me enough stuff for my package and I kept telling him not worry, but would sneak in a few "then go shopping!" comments. Ahahaha. It's not so much about just wanting things, but I adore everything from him and it's nice to see what he thinks I'll like and what'll make me happy. :)

ha ha. You should just be honest and say "I want something sweet and loverly", and you know he'll do it! I actually didn't want anything, so when he surprised me in bed this morning with breakfast and a card with a note saying one present was on the way, and the other one I wouldn't get for another two weekends (the circus!), I was happy, but annoyed because I didn't get him anything!

Actually, I did give him the speech about how much I appreciate thoughtful gifts over everything else, but I didn't feel like it was that important that I told him because he already knows what a mush I am. I cried the whole time I was going through the last package he sent me! And it was over things like a blanket and a beautiful card and a map book he circled special places in. He's usually really careful with what he gets me -- it's never anything I need or even knew I wanted until he gave it to me. I just put so much into his package and it kind of made me twitch when he seemed so unsure about what he was sending me. And I'm rambling, but I'm sleepy.

Yay for sweet boyfriends! Breakfast in bed is so cutes. <3

See, it's odd, but that's where I differ from the normal woman sterotype. I actually *didn't* want anything for V-Day, because I would perfer he spend the money on other things, like a truck payment, or a credit card payment (and then my ring!). I should know better by now, though, because I told him I didn't want anything for Christmas, and then suddenly there are four presents under our measly tree for me from him. I can't trust him to NOT buy me gifts! lol

Unfortunately, he said it wasn't you. :-( I got all excited but he said the package only weighs a couple of pounds. You're thin, but not *that* thin. *sigh* :-) I'm sure it'll be a great present, though. I can't wait for it to arrive!
