Happy birfday to me!

It's not even 11 a.m. yet and so far this has been a great birthday! I've had so many birthday wishes via myspace, facebook, LJ, ecards, eflowers, text messages, phone calls, and in person "Happy birthdays!" and it just makes me smile to know that so many people care and remembered (or have nifty devices that remind them!). :-) My dad called me this morning and I told him thanks for knocking my mom up 24 years and 9 months ago. He thought that was funny. My mom's sick at home in bed, so I told him that she's just reliving my birth again. ha ha. I'll have to call her later today and thank her for squatting me out. I'm going to see STOMP tonight at the Fox Theatre with Christin and I can't wait- it's going to be freakin' amazing! Hooray for birthdays!

Ealier this morning, I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize. I answered the phone and the woman said "Hi Elizabeth, it's Emily. Happy birthday!" I said "Thanks!" and trying to figure out who she was, asked how she was doing so I could get her to talk some more. She said "Fine, thanks! I hope you have a good day! Bye!" and that was it. Googleing her number didn't come up with anything.

Just a few minutes ago, I get another phone call. The woman sings "Happy Birthday" to me and then hangs up the phone. So I google HER number and it comes up with one result- a comment she made on a realtor's website. Luckily, the comment had her name. When I googled her name, info came up about her workplace, AADD.

My brother works for AADD. He put his coworkers up to this! Ha ha. It's a great joke, though. I hope they continue to call me throughout the day because it's rather entertaining.
