Jan. 19th, 2006 04:01 pmToday was the first day of classes.
I got into my waitlisted "Medical Ethics" philosophy class, although I missed it today because I wasn't on the roster yet. But I'll be there bright and early 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Ick.
I went to the uncharted terrority of Agnes' gym today for my P.E. class, "Responding to Emergencies". I venture down into the basement, find room 104, and sit and wait outside. Noon-thirty rolls around and then passes- I'm the only one there. I ask a friend if I'm reading my schedule right; yup, I am. She calls the prof and lo and behold, class is cancelled today. The prof won't have the class materials in until Monday. She tried to send out an e-mail, but I didn't get it (obviously). There were no notes on the doors saying class was cancelled, none of the other coaches knew what was going on with the class, nothing. I fear this will be another class like my music class, with a very disorganized teacher that will drive me insane. Ugh.
After my non-existant P.E. class, I had my Chaucer lit class. There are four people registered for the course. FOUR. Combine that with the course material, reading Canterbury Tales in Middle English, and the prof that I love, and it should be a very interesting course. Although I'm dreading the fact that there are only four of us, because that means I HAVE to do all the readings for every class. I can't BS my way through 1 hour 15 minutes without having read the material in a class this small. I know Agnes boasts about its small class sizes, but this is overkill. lol
Christin and I are going out tonight to hang out and catch up on things. I've missed her over break. Drunk post possibly to follow. *grin*
