FREE-DOMMMMMMMMM
May. 25th, 2005 08:28 amElizabeth - I believe you are making the best decision for you, your schedule, and your interests in resigning from the Griffin internship. I am pleased that you have been able to secure a research project in an area where I know you have great passion, and I wish you the best - and good luck with that German class! As for the laptop problem, now you know why I have two.
I am forwarding this note to Dr. Bell at Agnes Scott. I will work out the separation details with her - that won't be any problem. Again, please accept my best wishes for your future. I have enjoyed knowing you..Jim
EDIT: That's an e-mail from my internship director. Boss lady still hasn't e-mailed a reply to me (it's 4 p.m. now).

Thank god I didn't win that laptop
May. 25th, 2005 10:21 pmI bid $400 on a laptop on eBay before I decided to quit my job. Now that I quit, I don't need a laptop.
I asked the seller if I could retract my bid, but he said no. With 8 minutes left, someone FINALLY outbid me, and has gone $5 over my maximum (Dustin e-mailed the bidder after she tried to outbid me once and failed. He told her what price would outbid me)! Yea!
