Angie is my hero
Last Thursday I was lounging around the house when a package arrived for me. The box said "FTD.com" on the side, and I started to grin, thinking about how sweet Dustin is for sending me flowers.
I opened the box and realized the flowers weren't from my boyfriend after all- they were from Angie![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
chasingangie05! I was so surprised that when I called her to thank her, I probably sounded like a bumbling idiot on her voicemail. :-) I've only gotten flowers from boys before (most recently Dustin, of course), so it was a wonderful surprise to have flowers from someone else, especially an online friend!
Unfortunately, the flowers hadn't opened yet, so I had to wait a few days to take pictures. But they're so gorgeous, I just have to show them off!
Angie, thank you SOOO much for the flowers! It's incredible what a little act of kindness can do to someone- I've been grinning every time I think about the flowers or see them since they arrived! You really didn't have to do such a sweet thing, as my advice and virtual shoulder to cry on are always available for free when you need it. It certainly was a wonderful surprise, though. Thank you!
P.S. Dustin says you made him look bad so now he'll have to show you up by getting me an engagement ring. Good work! ;-)
